Mountainside Wine is located in the historic Day Drug building on Oak Avenue (“Upper Street”) in downtown Spruce Pine. We offer a wide selection of wines (over 100 of which are priced at $10.99 or less as well as those upwards of $100), free-trade or organic chocolates, Oliver's Chocolates, wine accessories, (harder to find) beer & cigars. We also carry artwork from local artists (please see our Artists page) and we have some wonderful handmade works of art… from T-shirts to fused glass hors’ d’oeuvre plates to wine charms to framed photographs and so much more.
Wine Tastings are held on the first and third Saturdays of every month from 4pm until 6pm except for holiday and festival weekends. If you would like to be reminded of these or to find out early what wines will be tasted, please email Michele at michele@mountainsidewine.com.
All Wine Tastings are Free. You must be 21 years old or older.
Each bottle of wine reflects the
Wine Club price. That
is, you receive a bottle of wine that is
worth what you are paying, not a bottle that we choose to give us
the biggest profit.
Wine will be available for pick up during the first full week of the
month and payment is due upon receipt of the wine.
Each bottle comes in a nice gift bag and you are eligible for
special monthly promotions.
These promotions may be a large percentage off selected
wines, discounts on purchases of accessories, free items or by
invitation only wine tastings.
